Oh, that sounded very painful. I had some beginning worries about incidents like that, but have since decided, neither Oz or Gull are strong enough to be able to pull me off the bike. The first couple of times with Gull, he stopped dead in his tracks and was able to back right out of the harness I had him in (Lucky for me he stayed true to his Collie genes and just stood there waiting for me, instead of heading for the hills). It didn't effect me at all on the bike though. I felt a lil' drag and looked back to see what was going on and then quickly stopped when I realized. Switching from a harness to a collar resolved the issue. I'll have to make a mental note that trying to outrun disaster is not always the best option.

As to how I made the video, I'm holding the camera in my left hand, the bike with my right hand. I then leaned forward and held the camera out in front of me to the right to get the shot, while biking. That's why the picture is kind of jumpy. I need a lil' more practice, balancing the camera and biking at the same time.
