Taken with Liam Neeson ...... Action packed take no prisoners mindless fun... I enjoyed it a lot. If you enjoyed the Bourne Trilogy you will love this one too.

A former spy relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who has been kidnapped in Paris and forced into the high dollar slave trade.

Rough Riders with Tom Berenger, Sam Elliott, Gary Busey 1997

This is a great made for television account of the story of Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War. Tom Berenger did an outstand portrayal of Roosevelt. Highly recommend.

Music Within. True story of Richard Pimentel, a Viet Nam vet who lost his hearing in Nam and became the person responsible for pushing for equal rights for disabled Americans. Wonderful story and wonderful movie. Highly recommended.

The International very good movie. After our recent Bank bailouts it
drives home that The Banks own the world and feed on conflict.

I just saw a movie that rocked my world.

The Girl Next Door (2007) - It was based on a true story.
Evil that great cannot be made up. It was a brutal movie.
I am at a loss for words.

Hiroshima made-for-(Canadian)TV drama re-creates the events leading up to the Hiroshima bombing that ultimately ended World War II. This is a docu-drama looked at from both sides. Very well done and I believe accurate. Recommended.

Taking Chance with Kevin Bacon. The True HBO movie tells the story of Marine Lt Col Strobl's emotional experience traveling across America as a Volenteer escort officer for the body of Fallen 19 year old Marine Chance Phelps. This is an outstanding movie and I highly recommend. Beware LES
    content.

I think there was a remake of this movie called An American Crime on Showtime w/Ellen Page. If so, you're right, it was brutal and disturbing. No sleep for me that night.

    Thanks!
I saw it twice on the nite it played.

I am still rocked. I just cannot imagine anyone being that effing mean and sick. I can watch horror movies until the cows come home? This really bothered me because it was a true story.

Now I HAVE to read the book.....What a story.
