I love the area around Cold Mountain. Pisgah National Forest was one of my all time favorite Mnt Bike destinations. The riding there was unreal. The Biltmore in Ashville is a must see if in the area. The Blue Ridge in that area is very beautiful. I lived in the Blue Ridge up in Virginia on 3 separate occasions but it can't compare to the area around Cold Mountain/Pisgah.

i had never seen the whole movie before, just the last 30 minutes, and when i saw the scene with the typist catching the names, just one small job being done well, and with concern by an anonymous typist....wow. the scene with the car making the long dusty drive past a iowa corn field, and the mother opening her front door....it made me weep. so when i understood what the 'steamboat willie' character stood for, i was amazed by the ...quality of the story and acting. my late almost father in law was a paratrooper, and while he was delighted to talk to me, someone new about his stories, there were times when his face closed off, and he went back. that movie should make you cry.

Benjamin Buttons. Forrest Gump in reverse. Yawn. 1 3/4 hours too long.

"New in town" Renee Zelleger, Harry Connick Jr. Funnah, I Haven't had
this good of a laugh in a while.

    Netflix description below.
The weather isn't the only drastic change for high-paid consultant Lucy Hill (Renée Zellweger) when she's sent from her home base in South Beach, Fla., to a small Minnesota town to improve the productivity of a local manufacturing plant. The town's residents also take some getting used to, especially the ruggedly handsome union boss (Harry Connick Jr.) who's doing his darnedest to make sure that Lucy doesn't cut any jobs.

"He's Just Not That Into You"

My daughter and I watched this on PPV today. I was a little disappointed. With all of the big names in this movie, it just didn't keep my attention. There were too many twisted relationships and it was difficult to follow. A lot of it was old material redone too many times.

I can't believe I spent 10 minutes on Speed Racer. Who ever made that flick was on some drugs.

Harold and Kumar escape from Gitmo.

I stuck with it because TV is my only friend. I thought it would get funny.
