Stone suffered serious injuries inside his mouth.
ORTING, Wash. – Pierce County Sheriff's deputies are looking for the person who pulled a firework prank that left a horse fighting for his life.
Two-year-old "Stone" was in the pasture Wednesday night when a young man threw a lit firework out of a jeep.
The horse picked it up and it exploded in his mouth.

A report from the scene
Stone lost a tooth and a lot of blood.
"He's horribly hurt. He had sweats and he was shaking, he went into shock last night. They had to come in and give him drugs to calm him down and keep him relaxed," said horse-owner Jessica Carr.
Police have not made an arrest because no one could positively identify the suspect.
Veterinarians said Stone has a 50-50 chance of survival.
