I noticed the ears right away and thought there might be some Hound in there. Its hard to tell from the pic though.

Inoticed the houndish-ears too. He looks exactly the same as Timber's puppyhood friend, Judge. He was a rotti lab cross, and he was all ears and paws!

Yes, labs can get white. I've seen many purebred labs with white chests, paws, and sometimes stockings! It's because they carry a gene, much like the one that causes black blotches in golden retrievers

He sure looks like he could be pure blood, but I didn't know about the white spot either. I've never seen a pure breed lab with a white spot, but there is a 1st for everything! He sure is a gorgeous boy! Good luck with findind a forever home for him!

Top Spot....I just noticed my pure breed black lab has a slight white spot on her chest right where the one in the pic has it. It's a pinchfull of a few white hairs. So it is possible. She also looked like she had big long ears when she was a pup too. But again you never know.
