I fell for it too. After my second pass I started to get suspicious and then I figured it out.

I've seen that trick before on www.garfield.com. I was suckered into it, finally my friend told me how they did it. I felt so dumb for falling for it! Then I played that trick on my brother and he fell for it too! I still haven't told them how you do it though It's a great trick!

I prefer to believe it was the kitties. I am sure if you don't see them virtually but live they will be able to do the trick with their blue eyes

when I tried it, I assumed that the cards were all the same as in the first picture. But when the one I picked was missing, then I knew that something was up especially over the internet. So the next thing that was done was to look at the cards in the 2nd picture. Although they appear to be the same bunch as in the first, they are not. So, no matter which card you chose, it will not be in the 2nd picture. Looking at the cat's eyes is only a diversion.

the best part was sending the link on to other people that I work with to see how long they took to figure it out.

I really liked that first moment of awe and disbelief when I believed, even if only for a moment, that the "magic" happened.
