Dearest Otis, a.k.a. Ody, what a sweet little orange and white girl you are! My orange and white girl Sparkler agrees with me: you're gorgeous! That orange-tabby and white fur is so pretty and looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have with those long white whiskers and those big orange eyes that match your fur! Those photos are terrific; thank you for sharing them with us! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Dickinson County to pet you, and pet your brother Fitz, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you both for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You are a growing girl at age seven months, and you are full of energy. Fitz is your favorite person. You love to play tag and hide and seek with him and chase each other all over the house. You also love naps in the sun. You purr when you are in trouble! You don't like to be held, but you do love to love-on people. You and Fitz and all your family members love each other dearly, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Otis, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Fitz and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
