What a handsome boy you are, Carmine, looking so fetching, so dashing in your formalwear! That long, flowing tux, the outstretched paw, the beauty mark, those bedroom eyes... who could resist! *thud* Your former life as an Italian Vegas singer/performer is certainly shining through, not only in your good looks, but in your ability to "work the crowd!" How lucky for your chosen forever family that your final performance was as Houdini, magically appearing in your mommy's apartment, disappearing and reappearing, until finally your humans got the message. You were there to stay!

I so enjoyed reading your daddy's love filled tribute to his (and your mommy's) best boy! You're truly one of a kind, Carmine, one in a million, and your mommy and daddy so very lucky to have a furkid as sweet and cuddly as you, a loving companion bringing endless joy and smiles to their days, peace and comfort to their nights! You even like bath time!

I'm sorry to say, our little angel passed 10 days after he was featured in Cat of the Day. The house is empty now. Our beds are no longer warm. The squeaky mouse sits in the corner silent. Our loss is great but the joy he brought to our lives was immeasurable. He was truly the highlight of our lives and can never be replaced. We do appreciate Cat of the Day for recognizing him. We always said we should show him and Cat of the Day allowed us to do just that. Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I read each one to him and his passing was quick and in his Daddy's arms.
