thanks everyone, so many people here that just don't stop by and say hi to me anymore, after being here nearly 11 years, makes me sad really.

just realised i have posted a thousand posts per year over that period of time, can't believe it.

Thanks Karen, yes you are right ,i checked the views, anyhow thanks to those who did take time to stop by it is much appreciated, just feeling a bit blue today, it was my Dads 82nd birthday, and i dont know how many more there will be,and how he will be,but still least he has made it to this age until now without problem, just sad his last years are going to be this way.

Hi, Carole, I hope your Dad can have a good Christmas with you, in spite of everything.

My mom turned 80 in the summer and has early stage Parkinson's. She is in fine shape mentally and even physically, but I too wonder how many more Christmases we will have together. Each one is more precious because of that.

Yes Candace that's what we have to do,it's hard though loosing the dad I have known,alzheimers is a cruel disease,still he hasn't lost his sense of humour so far,and still knows us all,although he thinks my son is still at home and at high school sometimes,he's turning 32 and been in another city for 8 yrs.
I hope your mum stays well for many years to come.
