Boomer and Sooner romping in the snow of 2011

We got about 5 inches of snow today...on top of the inch or two of ice we got earlier in the week. Boomer and Sooner went out to the backyard and immediately got the zoomies!!!
    Sooner...about ready to come in!

Sooner found their water bowl buried in the snow....she was trying so hard to get it...

    She finally got it!!

Sooner taking a break from the zoomies...didn't last long...

Boomer, thinking of where to run next

    Sooner, running fast

Oh what great pics! I just realized why snow is no fun for me any more. I have no doggies! Laughing at the "jack rabbit one" Super action shot! Glad they are liking the snow.

Hi, Boomer and Sooner! I am so glad you had fun in the snow, sweeties! I love the pictures of Boomer running and zooming! And Sooner, I'm with Taz-Zoee -- way to go finding your bowl in the snow! Both of you gave me a big smile today!

Wow! Ice and then covered with 5" snow!! Be careful. Loved your dog pics. It is obvious they are having fun and glad to be out of the house (cabin fever maybe?) LOL Enjoyed the pics. Kay in NC, cold 35 rain

Thanks!! Yes, it is finally going to get above freezing tomorrow afternoon. We've missed four days of school. I've been teaching for 26 years, and I don't remember ever missing more than two in a row....As for cabin fever, yes, I think they have (had) it...They went out again this afternoon, and they are now both on the couch between my husband and me, sawing logs....

Great pictures. Looks like they sure had fun. I really have as much fun
watching my pups playing in snow as they do.

Our backyard still has a thick icy covering, so no running till it melts, I guess.
I'm just glad they don't balk at having to go out to potty.

That is a beautiful picture in my mind of you and the pupper on the couch! I miss cuddling on the couch with Casey. However, I now have Zoe my grandest grand puppy.

I always wanted a liver colored Springer. When I was married we even went to see a litter of them but my husband at the time talked me out of it. He was a Lab lover at heart. I am glad I get to enjoy pics of your doggies here.

Aww, they simply love it! It's probably not very often they see snow, is it?

    Great pictures!
