    The Full Moon

I was playing around with my new camera tonight, and got this picture of the moon. Just thought I'd share.

Wow- I'm impressed. I would not have thought that you can get such an amazing picture out of a normal camera. Did you use a tripod?

No, I didn't use a tripod, although I believe it would have come even sharper if I had one, because my hands weren't stabalizing at all. The image stabalization helped a lot. I'm seriously thinking of getting a tripod though. I was surprised with this picture. The camera has a great zoom, but when I first got it, I didn't realize I could actually get THAT close to the moon. High zoom is a lot of fun. A nice change from my old little pocket camera.

Thanks everyone. I have a Sony DSC-H50. Its 9.1 MP and 15X optical zoom. I'm so happy to have a Sony again. I wasn't too happy with my Fuji, although I will still keep it as my mini pocket camera, I probably won't be using it as much anymore.
