Newest feral kitten, and Oliver (other feral kitten) *ADOPTED- UPDATE POST 17*

Oliver was adopted last week to an older couple, whom adore him. He has one kitty brother, and a DAWG! He loves dawgs!

They just had a house built with a HUGE sunroom just for the kitties. They say he is very sweet, and he helps the grandfather with dementia cope. And he has always hated cats. But not Ollie. He loves him to pieces.

Here are a few pics before he left. He turned out to be the sweetest cat, and the best companion.

NOW I have Ollies brother( Stuart, aka Stewie), who I have had for a little over a week now. He is tame now, and very sweet. Looking for his Purrfect forever home. I will try to add pictures later, and shutterfly keeps cuttin me off!

What a wonderful story! My mother was staying with me last night while my hubby and father went to the Vandy game. Mom is suffering pretty severe dementia or Alzheimer's as well. The happiest moments she had here were when my new baby, Percy, was near her! He loved all over her and it tickled her to pieces!

I am so glad to read that! My grandma had dementia and I think the happiest times of her day was when she was giving our dog biscuits.

Hummm...Mama had dementia pretty bad before she died but the one thing she never forgot was her baby Boo! She forgot she had cancer and we just quit telling her... she never forgot Boo!

That Little Oliver is a little doll and he will bring much joy to his new home. Nothing brightens things up like having a kitten in the house!

OF COURSE he is very cute! Does he have big paws as well? I can't tell if he does or it's the view you took the photos from. He is going to be a big boy

Nope! Not cute at all, that is my opinion. He is much to pretty and adoreable to use a word only like "cute" on! Lets try gorgeous!!!!

Stinky Stewie was adopted this afternoon! By a couple and their daughter.

The father is an injured Iraqi veteran. He was so seriously injured that he is unable to work. Seizures, memory loss, and amnesic behaviors. He will be home all day with the kitten.

The family does horse rescue, and has a farm with horses, cows, pigs, ducks, chickens and dogs. Their 16 year old kitty recently died of cancer, and their daughter wanted a kitty to "sweep in mu bed with me!"...

She asked me "may I pwease have dis pretty kittun"! "Can I take it home with me?"

Stewie will be an indoor only kitty, with 2 rat terrier buddies to play with!

He will be neutered in a few months, and I will get updates.

I pray that I did the right thing, and held out for the right family.

I hate having to let them go, it is gut wrenching, no matter how PERFECT the family is. You try to look for inconsistencies, and hoping the vet check does not check out, just to keep the baby another day...

I just can not have anymore.. WISH I was rich, with a mansion and all the time in the world!

Please pray he is happy and loved. (can you tell I was completely attached already?)

    Thank you so much Michelle!
