    Peanut walks all over us....

    ....literally!

We were watching a movie Saturday night. Terry on one end of the couch, me on the other with CJ snuggling beneath the blanket. It's late in the movie, right at the peak of the action when Peanut jumps up and walks over to me. She has NO idea CJ is under the blanket, so she walks right over him, turns around on him and settles down right on top of him! CJ makes no protest and I start petting her so she stays put, right on top of him! I was cracking up, but also trying to pay attention to the movie - it was one of those that if you miss a minute of it, you miss something important and you're lost for the rest of the movie.

So anyway, she stayed there for the rest of the movie with no protest from CJ. At the end of the movie I had Terry stealthily go downstairs to get the camera to get a photo record of this momentous occassion.
    Snuggle, snuggle!

Close up. Neither one seems too concerned.

Then, because her daddy was up and about, Peanut had to get up. As she was getting down, she stepped right on CJ's head! With ALL 4 paws, one right after the other! It was like she knew what she was doing and she was just rubbing it in. CJ says "Mom, what's going on up there?"

I'm still cracking up about it. Oh, and for the record, Peanut NEVER comes by me to snuggle during a movie - NEVER!

LOLOLOLOLOL.... I thought the story was sweet, and she looked so sweet laying there, then I saw the little orange and white face peeking out from under the blanket. OMG, I am sitting here with tears from laughing so hard! His expression is toooooo funny!

I had a similar experience last week. I was trying to make the bed and Pouncer insisted on helping me. By the time I got two or three layers of blankets on the bed, he gave up trying to smooth out the sheets and became a lump underneath the blankets. Abby simply cannot resist blanket monsters, so she began to jump and pounce on Pouncer. I couldn't believe my eyes and almost fell over laughing. You should have seen her face when he finally crawled out from under the blankets and charged after her! LOL!

    Gotta love those princesses!

That is so funny that Peanut acted like CJ wasn't even there.
