Meet Patches, our "new kitty"...He is a rare male calico! He's the easiest to care for kitty ever! And he travels well! And he gives me something new to take pictures of, which just thrills

He loved the beach and is a real camera hog! (LOL) But he refused to go in the water.

I got the idea from my friend who has a group of friends on Face Book who are passing around a troll doll and taking pictures of it at different places in their area.

I toyed with the idea of doing that with Patches but I'm having too much fun with him! I had been on a Jack Russell forum some years ago and we did that with a little JRT stuffed dog. It was a lot of fun...That dog went to all kinds of neat places and did all kinds of neat stuff and we shared the photos on the forum.

My husband and I took a little stuffed lobster all around New England several years ago and did the same...her name is Libby.

What a cute addition Patches is , and he certainly will be a low maintenance Little Cat who goes where he pleases and please wherever he goes!!

We all love Your Surfing Safari Cat Quartet , they could well be the Beach Cats!!!

The song Ride the Wild Surf came to mind when I saw this Photo.

Did you get strange looks? I did, as did my friend when we took her troll doll to the beach. But it was fun and it's fun sharing it with people who think it's fun as well!

As much as the heart would love more kitties, the mind knows the limitations of my age, abilities and financial standings.

You'll probably see a lot more of me, and photos of the girls, starting in late September. I'm only on-line a lot these past 3 days because of our awful heat wave.

Hi Patches! Welcome to PT!!

We did that a few years ago with a stuffed warthog named Wally. Yes, we got strange looks, too

! Wally traveled to FL, VT, TN, and other places. He was a very good companion and never whined about when we are going to get there.

Doesn't take much to entertain and excite me...traveling with Patches is "just my speed"! LOL!
He'll be going to Chambersburg, PA, this weekend and staying in a hotel!
