    This thread is cracking me up -- I hadn't realized they looked like tortellini until I saw this. I just remember Sark's line that "cat's sleep circular" and always loved that one.

    Mitzi is just too short and round to do a tortellini. She is more like a Russian pelmeny which aren't quite the perfect circle - sort of an attempt at a circle that doesn't quite meet in the middle.

    Now Mishi -- he's a HUGE tortellini. His long thin body just curls right up and then he wraps his long fluffy tail around himself. I love it when they stick their noses in thier tails.

    Excellent Thread!

    What cute babies! My little one does the "tortellini" quite well, but unfortunately I only have a snail camera

    The one baby of yours in this picture,(not the calico) looks just like mine Cuddles. The color and the marking are just like your baby in the pic. I just couldn't believe it when I saw your babies. I hope to get a pic of my Cuddles on here soon. They look so precious lying there.

    Our deceased Calvin:

    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Awww Juni

    I wish Pixel would stay asleep long enough to curl up into a tortie ball AND remain in position whilst Meowmie takes a pic. Previous missions to capture tortie Pixel have been unsuccessful!

    This thread always makes me cry!

    I still think of my Grammy Crackers and that he can no longer do the tortellini thing......

    I do love looking at all the other photos!

    Boo Hoo..... I shall get over it some day!

    SAS I am sure Grammy Crackers is "doing the tortellini" at the Rainbow Bridge. After all, with all of the meeting and greeting and playing around that must go on there, surely a kitty gets tired and must ultimately 'strike that pose.' {{{hugs}}}
