I need help with Photoshop!

Since last week, I have Photoshop 7.0 on my pc. I have NO idea how to work with it, as I don't have the users manual . Somebody gave me the link for Photoshop tutorials, but that is still to complicated for me, as English is only my 3th language. What I am looking for is an explanation of all the icons, tools, words etc.. . Can somebody here help me?

ok. I don't have the same as you, but first of all, the layers box thing is important because it shows you the layers and you can drag them up and down. Also, click and hold on the lasso tool, and a magnetic lasso should show. You can use that to cut out a picture and then hold down shift and select with the lasso to add to the selected area, and alt to take away.

Ha! I have PSP 8 and I am about as lost as you are... The only way I can "find" things is I just keep at it... I "loose" things and don't know what I did or how to get it back.. I get so aggervated with it but I keep on because I like what I have figured out how to do in it so far... GOOD LUCK! KEEP AT IT, Don't give up.. !

Laura, since my Photoshop is in English, an English manual would be best. NO need to send it though, I will try to order one here. Thanks anyway!!!
