    A few fall foliage pictures

I decided to take my camera along with me on my walk with the pups today to get some pictures of the particularly pretty trees that have turned color. These were my favorites, hope you enjoy!

    This one looked truly spectacular.

This one of my neighbor's yard I just snapped through the spruce trees surrounding my yard. It actually kind of looks pretty with the spruce framing the view I thought

Beautiful shots, Jess! Fall is by far, my favorite time of year; I love the colors, smells and angle of the sun The sugar maples, so fiery orange, are my favorites! I just took some foligage shots this weekend too, but have to load them to my album Thanks Jess

I would have loved to be on that walk with you! Actually I don't know which would have been more enjoyable, the beautiful scenery or spending time with you and Tommy and Tasha. You sure got some gorgeous shots!! We haven't had much color change as of yet but the temps have sure taken a tumble. BRR!!! Autumn is here and it is just the best! Thanks for remembering to take your camera along. My pictures would probably have been all out of focus from camera movement trying to control two dogs. LOL! I'm not very coordinated!

Glad you all enjoyed them! It's a beautiful neighborhood and the trees are just gorgeous.

Kay I do love the season changes but the winters here are something that take getting used to, especially as I grew up in Missouri! MN winters are LONG and COLD, but I do love when it snows .

Sandra I love the maples best too, they are just stunning. The trees in our yard don't really turn color except for the little birch out front and it is not as impressive as the maples.

Pam I usually just stopped walking and made the pups stop a moment when I was snapping the pics. I felt a tad self-conscious wondering if the neighbors would look out and see me snapping pictures of their yards LOL. In Missouri my Mom had planted a tulip poplar in our yard that turned just a brilliant awesome shade of yellow in the fall, and we'd have people drive by and snap pictures of it.

I'm so glad you all enjoyed the pics!

Beautiful pictures! There are few trees here in Williamston that look stunning. And I got a few shots while in the woods this past weekend. Though most of the trees were still green!

Miranda, I live in central MN, St. Cloud area.

Kimmy you should post some of those pics, I just love woodland and nature pics. The woods here seem to be more fir and oak trees so the colors aren't as impressive as the maples but I'm sure the aspen woods up north are stunning. I also like the mountain ash trees with their bright orange berries in the fall.
