    R.I.P. Takara

Alas, my little Takara didn't make it. She's one of my jungle phase Leopard gecko females. She had the same exact affliction that my other female had before she died.

I'm convinced now that it might be a product of a genetic flaw induced by the amount of inbreeding necessary to acquire the "phases" of Leopard Geckos.

I did everything I could for her, even managed to douse a bit of neocalglucagon down her throat. I soaked her and helped her with her shed, but it was too late.

RIP little Takara. You were very fortunate because you were loved and had a happy home. Be happy at the RB.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
