    cats & laundry

First time I noticed my dirty clothes scattered throughout the house I thought maybe I dropped them on my way to the wash machine. The second, third and under tables I caught on.

I think it is my tortie who takes mine (not so much my husband's) dirty clothes out of the pile waiting to be washed...back upstairs. This is not a short little walk and it is up 13 stairs...and she is not just moving the socks. Nothing like having to check under the table for underwear before company comes over...because of the cat .
Today she decided the my sweat pants needed to be back upstairs. This is a 6 lb cat.

    Anybody elses cat do this.

LOL This is too funny. My cats haven't done this for quite a while. When I only had Storm and my RB Pepper, I came home from work one night and my bra had been dragged out into the hallway. Sometimes they'll also drag their own blankets around but that's okay because it's there stuff and not mine.

Your laundry grows legs and walks too!

Mine does and I thought it was only me!

Living in a household I make sure my smalls are separated as Bastet loves to make a *nest* out of them in the most inconveneint of places.

I have seen her literally jump into the laundry basket and take her *favourites* out.

My cats just love the laundry when it's right out of the dryer. When I throw it all on the bed for folding I have to move the cats out of the way. No wonder I have cat hair all over the place!

LOL! That is funny. Fister doesn't take ours out of the laundry basket, but it's probably because he can't get to it. However, when we put clean bedsheets on, he loves to crawl under and play tent. He also loves to lay in our cupboards with clothes - he's quite an expert opening them.

Mystic does the same thing with dirty underwear.....(yuck). She loves her daddy's undies.

LOL!! Love the pic of Mystic and the undies. A classic.

None of my three have any interest in laundry - thank goodness. I don't want company to find my bloomers in a strange place.

Now an empty laundry basket is another story. They all love to get inside.

LOL...Love that picture Mystic. I am sure Mystic is doing what Dawn (my tortie) has left evidence of....I just never caught her in the act. She is a sneaky laundry picker.
I have been tempted to leave the video camera out during the day while we are out to catch them in the act doing some of this activity....could provide some good entertainment.

I'm afraid mine have never dragged dirty washing about but they do love to sleep in the laundry basket on top of the clothes !!!
