I was reading through this book, Close Friends, by Peter Jenkins. I read this part about a siberian husky and I thought it was cute.
<<The Ketzlers breed Alaskan Huskies for racing>>
The Ketzlers had one pet dog, a very well-built extra-large Siberian Husky. The dog had obviously had the pull and wild energy bred out of him -- he was just "a big ol' puppy dog, grew up to be so friendly like a living rug." He was a classic picture dog, the kind so many think all Alaskans have. If he were hooked to a sled he would probably lie down and cry, Jerry told me. But he was beautiful.
If anyone has some dog quotes they like from books, movies, etc. post them here!
