Update- over a foot of snow and still snowing...(w/pictures)

It's too early for THAT much snow! We will be under a winter storm warning from 6 pm tonight to 6 pm tomorrow. Right now it's partly cloudy and 50 degrees.

Hopefully it goes as ours did. Just a wee skiff of snow fell in Calgary where they were predticting quite a dump.

Snow? I seem to have some vague memory. . . .

Ah, October along the Front Range. I remember it well!

At least when there's a big dump of snow in the fall or spring, it melts quickly.

I didn't even want to read this for fear that it somehow would head this way. Good grief!

Well, we haven't gotten any yet, but it's not too far off, I'm afraid..

I would be absolutely DELIGHTED to send ALL of it to you in Texas, if I could only figure out how to!

I have a feeling it's going to be like 2006 in terms of snow- that it will snow so much so often that it won't get the chance to melt! Our street was covered in at least a foot of snow/ice all winter.

Here's a few pictures taken from my house this morning. It's supposed to continue snowing all day and tomorrow, too:

I hope not--2006 was nasty. I didn't have a car, so I had to wade through knee-deep snow to get to bus stops. That was the only really bad winter in the 16 years I was in Denver, though. My friends in Evergreen and Bailey always got tons of snow, but the city not so much.

Thought I would add another picture from a few hours ago. We have at least 16" and it's still snowing! I had to shovel a few tunnels through the deck and the yard for the dogs, since the snow is higher than the corgis in most spots. They love it though.

Now, when can I forward all this snow to Texas?
