It breaks our heart to know that anyone would hurt a helpless animal. We're so sorry you suffered abuse at an early age. We always wish that parents would teach their children to treat animals with respect and love. Maybe one day, the message will be universally observed. It's our dream. Thank goodness you found such a wonderful famiy that has taken the time and made the effort to bring you out of your frightened shell. You are such a pretty girl and we know that you are now so full of life. Congratulations for being our much deserved DOTD today!!! Please tell the family to give you tons of kisses all the way from Florida, USA. Happiness always!!!

Thanks Barry!
Poor baby, what a horrible start to life, but I'm so glad that you are living the life in with your human(s) now!
Luvs and kisses and an extra treat to you, lovely girl
Rules for Non-Pet Owners Who Visit and Like to Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the
furniture.
3. I like my pet a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.
5. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't
need a gazillion dollars for college, and if they get pregnant, you can sell the results.
What a beautiful girl you are! We especially like your "wet" look. Almost makes us want to move away from the computer screen before you shake off! Wishing you the very best DOTD for a special young lady.

Beautiful Tinka, sweet baby girl It's hard to contemplate a doggie as sweet and loving and smart and special as you suffering at the hand of a human, being so cruelly treated, and by children no less I'm so happy for you that you were able to escape those horrors and find solace, peace and love in such a wonderful, caring home! It's amazing how far a little time and patience can go in helping to heal the heart and spirit. And it's a grand testament to your human's love and dedication that you, a once skittish and timid pup, could learn to love and trust again; grow into a pup brimming with confidence, welcoming all into your world with paws wide open, including kids! And the fact that you are now helping to foster other doggies in need so that they too might find their very own, extra special forever homes, just as you have, is nothing short of inspirational! I can't imagine a more deserving Dog of the Day than you, Tinka! And I hope you and all of your adoring friends and fans; humans, horses, doggies and kids alike; your Mom and Dad and Kroovi, are all a very happy day of celebration, jam packed with "engergy, food and water." Congratulations, kisses and wishes for a long and happy lifetime with your wonderful family, precious Tinka!

Tinka, what a gorgeous girl you are! Love that picture of you having a swim in the lake. Sorry that you had a bit of a rough beginning, but I`m glad that you found your furrever home and that your humans treat you with love and respect. I`m also glad to hear that you were able to overcome your mistrust of kids because of what had happened to you, and are now loved by everyone of all ages! You sound like you have a great life, and that you and Kroovi have a good time together. Have a fantastic day, sweetheart!
