I need cheering

Hi everyone

I am so upset right now, I just gave Emma her 2nd dose of the medicine for today, and... the inner or third eyelid is all read and puffy!! it was not like that last night! oh it looks so gross, and painful to her! I called the vet clinic that gave it to her and that dr isn't there til 6pm so I will call back, but I just can't stand to see her like that, I wanted to cry when I saw that just now.
I don't understand I thought it was suposed to help well if it is like that still later, I just will not give her the medicine again... but what if it is suposed to get worse before it gets better? shouldnt they have told me that? I really wonder just what they know, if they know what they are doing at all, any of them. its a guessing game, with my cats paying the price. I feel so bad that I didnt just take them to the eye specialist to begin with, its where I would have gone if my eye was sore, I should have done the same for them. damn I feel so guilty but I am mad too, they should have sent me there sooner. I hope this never happens again but if it does, they will go straight to the eye specialist.

well I guess I will sign off I should be getting things done around here, but just wanted to post first, then I will read some jokes or something, in the joke thread, I need cheering. actually I need to see them get better!

tough cookie, what was the diagnosis with your cat's eyes? I don't believe that any medication should inflame the eyes. It sounds to me like they have made it too strong for her. Or perhaps you are to dilute it. ?

Mary, I sure hope that Emma's eye is doing better. I know that it seems like things are bad now but they will get better soon. Good luck.

I don't know if it would inflame the eye or not, I only know what I see, and I see her eye is terrible looking. i wasn't suposed to dilute it, the vet showed me right there how to apply it, which I have done. it is awful to look at your pet and see her inner eyelid swollen and red! I called the vet, of course she doesnt know why, and of course I could bring Emma back in tonight if I want to... sure why not, another $50, why not. maybe I can bring her daily! and, they don't have any openings for me to bring Louise with Emma, but I am going to anyway, on monday to the eye specialist, it can't take that long to look at her, I think it is the same thing with them, and I doubt it is the virus. well I will find out on Monday I hope.
this just seems to be a roller coaster, one day one cat is better then another one is sick. I know I have alot of cats, but I think I have had my share of sick ones already?

I'm so sorry you're going through all these problems with all your little furkids. I sure hope that once this eye thing is taken care of that things settle down for you so you can really start enjoying them instead of worrying about them. Poor little critters.
