Head Banging Bagel!!

Last night was a lovely warm night and when it came time to bed the cats for the night (they all sleep in the kitchen and Utility room).
There was no sign of Dan and Ketchum anywhere - so I stood at the door rattling their 'treat can' and calling them - no cats appeared. This went on for 10 minutes or so - I then lost the will to live - so I gave up!!
I figured it was so warm, they wanted so spend the night outside they often do this when it's warm.
So Bagel was settled and we went to bed.
About twenty minutes later there was a series of almighty *bangs* from downstairs - Don was sent to investigate! As he opened the kitchen door - he said Bagel shot past him like a rocket and before I knew it she was curled up on the bed with me!!
The look on her face was wonderful - a case of 'If you think I'm staying on my own - forget it!!'
Needless to say she slept with us all night (something they don't normally do).
I enjoyed it!!!!
We reckon she'd head-banged the door to get out!

Clever girl!
Oh and don't worry - Dan turned up at 8.30 followed about an hour later by Ketchum - they had their breakfast and are now fast asleep on our bed!!!

Poor Bagel! No "sleeping single in a double bed" (or triple bed in this case.) You may now have a permanent spare in your bed!

I just love hearing and talking about the daily "funnies" of our cats...they sure do make life more interesting!!

Yesterday morning my furkids were especially active, running through the house, chasing each other, climbing on things, and playing with a piece of cardboard, that is laid aside the wall with another cardboard box under it. ( My cats love this "toy".) About sunrise, the place was alive with all of my 4 to 6 week old kittens , running around and playing on various things. I had to stop and watch the procedings -with laughter.
