    Oh, yes, that's happiness! This morning, after being gone on vacation for 8 days, I woke up with Abby on my chest...her face snuggled under my right ear, her left back paw under my left ear and her right back paw sticking in my ear!

    And she was purring!

    Or getting up in the morning to see piles of Cats in the sun room, all peaceful and serene, the Kitten Trio with the Older Cats, all enjoying each others company.
    Thats Nirvana to me.

    You create a peaceful mental picture Richard. Of course happiness is being ABLE to take a late morning vacation nap! The cat is the icing on the cake.

    Unhappiness is, waking up at 2:00 AM, hearing a crash downstairs and hoping and praying it is ONLY a cat and not a burglar.
