MostlyLabs.com is a web site very similar to our Pet Talk ...
This "Frolic" is a social gathering - with DOGS - much like our Findlay Gathurins.
Their Mixer/Frolic is mentioned on several threads - I think this was the first mention >>>

Millpond Park Dog Park Update as of April 27, 2006 --
The Millpond Park dog park is currently closed for turf repair. The City of Saline is working to develop a temporary location for the dog park at Millpond Park. The temporary location is expected to open the week of May 1st. Please check this website for up-to-date information as it becomes available.

I can't find a single mention of "the Dog Park" other than the above.

That was all I found too Phred. I joined Mostly Labs to see if someone there could give more info.
Here's what I got so far
Welcome Amy! We're happy to have you! Too bad you can't join us for the frolic! It;s tons of fun. The park in Saline has a lake as well for the dogs to swim!
Sounds like fun! Unfortunately I'll be in Colorado that weekend.

A bit more information about the park...
Yes, the park is fenced. The park/lake are adjacent. It's sizable when you consider the size of the lake. We have pictures from last year somewhere, I'll see if I can get them reposted for you. I don't believe there are membership requirements. I've only been there once, for last year's frolic (I live in Cleveland), we paid a rental fee for the pavillion, but I'm sure the use of the park is free.
Millpond Park Dog Park Update - May 4, 2006
The dog park has been closed for over a month due to the damage that was done by use during the mild winter. The damage to the turf has been fairly severe. The damaged areas have now been reseeded, fertilized and mulched. The remainder of the dog park will be slit seeded with a hardier variety of grass. It is estimated that it will take another two months for the grassed areas to recover.
In the meantime, snow fence has been used to create a temporary dog park. The temporary location is located left of the pavilion area. This will be used as the dog park until about July 1st when we expect the permanent dog park to open.
