    Thursday's #57

Well, the only association I have with the number 57 is the steak sauce, so I guess its time to open up the bar and have an old time Bar-B-Que. As far as I'm concerned, the official beverage of any bar-b-que is BEER.

I'll tap the keg and start serving (you are of course allowed to order something else if you wish). Can someone tend the grill and take orders?

These are not the droids you were looking for

    Ice Cold, Bud Light, please!!!!

I can try to help with the grill. Even though I live in the south, I prefer beef ribs, any day!!!!

I brought cole slaw plus onions and pickles to go with the BBQ - oh and some homemade BBQ sauce - where is Richard?? He has not been around for several days.
Of course - country music on the jukebox - OK?

This was a trivia question I heard the other day....

What does the word Bar-be-que mean?

    1) Charcoal

    2) From beard to tail

    3) long-handled fork to keep your hands cool..

Thanks Catland for opening the bar.

    Logan,

    Ice cold bud.....DONE!

    I'll baste and flip.....

Ice cold beer please while I set up the horse shoe pit out back WooHoo, this week I really do have something to cheer about. Jenny's home from the hospital and her prognosis is good. Just walkin' through the front door
Puts a big smile on my face
It ain't too far, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar

I've seen short skirts, we got high-techs
    Blue-collar boys and rednecks
And we got lovers, lots of lookers
And I've even seen dancing girls and hookers
And we like to drink our beer from a mason jar

Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar

a baby bud in a long neck?

OH! I played this on the jukebox a few days ago but how bout another spin?

This crime in the city streets
Always trouble in the middle east
How’d they let things get so out of hand
    Just watchin’ the evening news
that would give anybody the blues
The more I know, I think the less I understand

    Chorus:
Oh Why can’t we all just get a long (neck)
And make a toast to peace and harmony
Why, Why can’t we all just get a long (neck)
And see how good getting a long might be

I’d like buy the world around
In the honky tonk neutral ground
So we can see that on the inside we’re all the same
Pop a top and let the good times pour
Til we forget what we was fightin for
I’ll ask again can someone please explain

    CHORUS

As different as we may be
    We’re all one big family
Cuz if we just agree we’re gunna disagree

NOW - what IS the trivia answer???

yah! Go ahead with the Faith Hill now

    Two ice cold brews!

    Done!

    Sirrah,

    The trivia answer is "B"-

It means from 'beard to tail'-French pirates
used that term to describe pigs cooked over an open flame......it meant that everything from
beard to tail was good to eat!

Baby Bud with a long neck!
    Done!
