Peggy and Dino - new pics!

I think many here already know Dino and Peggy, and mother's and Reinhold's kitties. And I know I haven't posted any pictures of them lately, but here they are now!

The ones of Dino are actually the first outdoor shots I did with my new camera! The ones of Peggy were taken today.

    Here's Dino:

Hello again Kirsten! You're great with the camera!

Hope you don't mind me citiquing your pictures. I'm only trying to share what I know and feel!

Dino indeed materializes the beauty of cats! She/he holds such an elegance that is very vivid in your pictures. Pic #4 & 5 are very nice, though I would suggest you try placing the subject asymmetral, especially #5, giving space to the side the cat's head is turned creates space for thought, hence gives more interest to the picture itself. Picture #2 & 3, I believe the focus is on the log, do you use auto focus? Picture #1 is stunning! Definetly full marks! The placing and pose of the subject and the vignetting creates a stunning image. Also the warm yellow in the background contrasts beautifully with the shadow and highlight of the cat's coat. The crispness of vegitation surrounding the cat and the inclusion of the rotten trunk on the right was a right decision. Finally the border is also suitable. No wonder you chose this one to photoshop!!

Please do PM me if I was a pain with the above!!

    Keep up the good work!

    Karen

And on your way up to Hamilton, Ontario from Guatemala, how about a stop in Ann Arbor with the camera?

    I think so, too!

Kirsten, these photos are just beautiful as all your pictures are. I so want you to have a book published with all your photos in it. Please give Peggy and Dino some petting from me. And of course, hugs and snuggles to Luna and Lily too

Ohhhhhh! There they are!! It looks to me like they knew you were there to take beautiful pictures of them and posed just for the occasion. Dino is as handsome as ever with his beautiful black and whit markings and Peggy is just as adoreable as ever with her vivid colors. I LOVED the one of her yawning. You did another great job with these.
