    Hi, need input please

I recently purchased a boxer puppy. She made boxer #3 in our home, only I am not so sure that she is full blooded. The older she gets, the more I am leaning to think she is a pit bull/boxer mix. Im going to put a pic of her and yall tell me what you think. It wont matter either way though! Shes our sweetie! Her face just isnt taking the boxer shape like my other boxies did? She could still be boxer, but one that will have a longer snout other than the pug snout.

OMG!! What a little cutie! It's hard to tell, but she may be mixed. She's beautiful! Here's a pic of my brindle boxer/pitty mix, Joxer. They could be twins but yours is more 'flashy'.

    P.S. welcome to PT!

    Joxer says 'thanks very much!'.

Does your little one have a docked tail? What makes you think she's mixed?

yea, I'd say she looks like a mix between a boxer and a pit bull like you said. Maybe you could call the breeder and ask? Or are her parents members of the AKC or CKC because I think you can buy family trees for your dog ( I think I'm not completley sure) hope I helped but she really is a cutie either way.

Yes, she is docked. Her eyes and face shape make me think she might be a pit mix, to me her eyes resemble a pit's, along with her square longer snout. I guess its really going to be hard to tell until she gets larger. No, neither of her parents are registered. All of my other dogs are, but that doesnt really matter to me because I dont breed, she will be spayed soon.

Also she has realllllllly big feet! LOL Im not sure if that is a trait of a Pit or not. I have never owned a Pit. ?

Yep, sounds like some pit in her. With Joxer he he's beefier and has much thicker legs and bigger feet than the boxers. Ya know, he's the absolute nicest dog I've ever had! He has the more square head, also.

Hi there, welcome to pet talk! Here's Miz Sassy Sara Leigh...

    She's a "long-nose" boxer too!
(sara's registered -- it's possible your beautiful baby is full-blooded)

We had a boxer that had a longer snout who is now at Rainbow Bridge.
I look at Kaiden and think ok, shes a boxer because of all the boxer traits she carries, but then I think maybe shes not. I guess it is just a wait and see game. In the end it doesnt matter to me what she is, shes still our furbaby! Thanks for the input, hope to see you all around the boards!
    You all have beautiful babies

My brother(human) had a huge nose when he was kid and then he grew into it. We love him too no matter what breed he is .Your baby is sooo adorable- besides long noses are aristocratic!!and large feet are a sign of intelligence.
Artists and dogs are not meant to be understood;merely adored!!!
