Took the shelties for a walk (pics)

Well it warmed up enough for me to take the shelties out for a much needed run, and of course I brought the camera
Sorry about the blue tint to the first few pics, I forgot to change the white balance from indoor to outdoor on my camera.

This is the field before we got there. As you can see there are just a few tracks going through it.

Here the shelties are waiting for the word to mess up the place

    OK!

(I tried fixing the blue tint in PSP)

    Go Emily go!

    More coming.....

If you look closely...you'll notice that Clipse lost his bootie....if you look even closer Emily is taking a header into the snow...LOL

Here they are during their mandatory rest time. (I have to make them rest or they will run 'til they drop).

The field after they were finished...

    More coming...

    The walk home...

Waiting for me to let them in the house and take off their booties....and if you'll notice.....
"One naughty cutie has lost his bootie...
now he shall have no pie, now he shall have no pie..."

I found the bootie from the other post and put it back on, and then he lost this one and I couldn't find it anywhere.
I'll have to wait until the snow melts to try and go look for it. LOL Oh well.

They do look like they were having a great time! And they actually wore booties in all that snow - and came back with MOST of them????

Adorable pictures! It looks like the shelties had a blast! They are beautiful!

GSDgurl: If she uses the booties frequently, I think that they would be used to them. I know that Michelle's huskies do not wear them, but their feet are used to rough ground. Prince has to get them because he ended up getting a small cut on his pad. I am hoping he will get used to them also.

I loved the pictures! The pups are gorgeous, especially while running. Great pictures!

Great pictures; what gorgeous pups!!! "Thanks Mom, we needed that!" As for the pie...well, you did FIND the bootie. Doesn't that count for something...maybe 1/2 a piece?? Those booties are too cute!

Don't you know those dogs were having some major fun? The snow is so beautiful. I can see the ice crystals and I like the blue tint. I still envy everyone with snow. Maybe I should take a leave of absence and just visit all my PT people that have snow right now. Duke and I would have a blast!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I cannot believe that they both just walk along the sidewalk like that, off leash. My dogs would be in the next county.

"We are raised to honor all the wrong explorers and discoverers - thieves planting flags, murderers carrying crosses. Let us at last praise the colonizers of dreams."- P.S. Beagle

"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." - J.R.R. Tolkien
