    Bug's belly scare

Well, this weekend it was our turn! Saturday morning at 6am Bug woke me with the horrible sound of gagging....you know the sound we all dread and fear. poor little girl barely got her head lifted when she lost her dinner from the night before. (yes, she was still in my bed )
Beyond the initial worry about Bug my thoughts went to all of you and the advice that has been offered to some many other pups with upset bellies. (almost reconnected the computer at home!)
She went outside right after that and then came back in and napped the majority of the day. I gave her a pepcid ac and that was it...I have no idea what caused the rumble in her belly, but she's great now!
But, gosh, i missed you guys as i sat on the sofa with her and worried - wondering if she would be sick again, if i was going to make a vet run, or what the deal was.
And even though i didn't have a computer with me, i knew we weren't alone and that made me feel better! A big THANK YOU to all of you for your love of these critters

So glad it wasn't anything serious. We've had so many scares lately. Give Bug a hug for me

Glad Bug is OK. Things were getting pretty scary on the board for a while! Don't you just hate when they up-chuck on your bed!!!

it all happened soooo quick neither Bug nor I had a chance to think - just react! we were both sound asleep! At least i knew where it was and didn't step in it. :.... yuck!
she's definitely on a blander than bland diet for the next couple of weeks. yougurt, cottage cheese, rice, some doses of dog food, some vegies (cooked) --oh what we won't do for our babies!

Hi Janet. Poor Bug and Bug Mom! My Cody had the same one time episode late last week. Luckily, she missed the bed! But thought I'd wait it out before I posted for fears! Too many scares on the forum lately. Cody now too is on "blander than bland" and everything seems OK. Glad the little Bugger is feeling better. They do give us a fright every now and again, don't they?? And of course! There isn't anything we wouldn't do for our babies! Hugs to Bug from Cody, Star and Sandra!
