Wonderful Whisky!
Dearest Whisky, what a handsome fellow you are! You're such a beautiful Tuxedo kitty, and you bring back fond memories to me of my beloved RB Tuxedo guy Sydney. I love that great photo of you perched up there! Thank you for sharing it with us. That trademark black and white fur is gorgeous and looks so fluffy and soft, and you have the sweetest face with those lovely big golden eyes looking straight out at me. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the ocean to Romsey, England in the U.K. and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons are petting you for me .
And what a cool cat you are! You have attitude, but you are also very sweet. You and your mum and siblings were rescued and brought to the RSPCA centre when you were very young. I was horrified to read that you'd been found in a bin liner with mum and siblings at the side of the road. I'm so very glad and grateful that you were rescued and brought to safety at the RSPCA, where you received the expert care and deep love you needed AND deserved. That was where you and your dear Purrrsons-to-be first met. They fell in love with you, of course! You and they adopted each other, and off you went to your Furrrever Purrrmanent HOME!
You were shy and nervous at first, but you soon settled in. You bonded with the family's pet rabbit Fudge, who sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge last year. Now you are living the life you deserve (and always deserved)! You live a fun-filled life, watching TV (especially bird programs!) and watching birds. You and your dear family members all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Whisky, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know that Fudge Angel is rejoicing with you at the Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
