    Loose dog:(

Me and Jenna were walking on a very busy road to my house and we saw a dog off leash. No owner nearby. No one. We saw him this morning to with two huskies WHO were dragging a leash. He had a red collar. We would have followed him except the area is resricted. He is on a busy road and Im really worried he'll be hit by a car. I called my two friends and they looked. They found nothing. I THINK I know who his owner is. But if he gets to Route 9 he is DEAD for sure. Any suggestions?

If you can't catch him - report him to dog warden or equivalent. Do it every time you see him until someone takes action against the stupid owners - worked for me!

I see the problem. My parents (and now many years later my husband) got used to me coming home with strays on bits of string...If you think you know the owner can you approach them?

Yes, I'll try. Thanks for the advice. I am also spreading the word to residents nearby.

All you can do is make others aware - do not put yourself in any danger with irate owners etc..... I hope it works out well for you
