how volunteering went today and pics of the shelter dogs..

if you guys don't know that I started volunteering on Saturday..Click here

Today went very well. I got in there
and walked the dogs..the lady who
runs the shelter secured the fence so I took them
one-by-one outside they could romp around
and that's exactly what they did. I took this
handsome chocolate lab out first, but forgot
my camera when I took him out. he's
so sweet! Then I took Jori
out. She is such a and loving girl!!
with the ball I threw her..

    zooming..

I only got one good picture
of her, because she would not stop running
around. She's a sweet and loves to be loved!

these next two dogs got reclaimed and
    they were sweethearts!

    more coming..

then I got to play with 2 puppies. Frank and Sammy.
Frank has someone interested in him and I LOVE
    his eyes.
    here he is..

and then there's Aris..she is a sweet, sweet, sweet loving
girl!! I am in love with her. She is going to make a wonderful
pet to a special person and they should be very honored
to have her in their life.

so that's how volunteering went today and I thought I'd share.

I am glad things went so well today. The dogs will be very happy when they see you coming. And we will be happy because we get to see these sweet dogs. I hope they all find they perfect home for them.

I hope they get great homes, too. they deserve the best!! I forgot Jake. He has a UTI and they are treating him, so I didn't take him out today.
when he is better, I will take pictures of him. There's nothing worse than seeing a dog in pain.
    here is his shelter picture..

    he's such a sweetheart!
and here's Princess. She was turned in by her owner today. I can't see how they could give her up. She's sweet.

Oh, it must have been great there, but very sad seeing all of those poor, homeless dogs. My friend, Sarah just got a Mastiff/Labrador from somewhere like that named Rupert.

Those dogs are so beautiful Krista. Surely they won't be there long before finding their forever homes. I'll bet you felt like a million bucks all day and when you came home. Nothing could feel better than helping all those cuties. Thanks for sharing
