    24 years and counting!

Tomorrow will mark the 24th anniversary of my quitting smoking. I'm SO glad I did it. I quit cold turkey which is the toughest way to quit. I took a puff of one about six weeks later, and I thought I was going to DIE! No more after that. This was in 1982.

Congratulations! My mom quit the same way, something like 30 years ago. Former smokers are often the most militant about cigarette smoke in their presence!

Thanks everyone! I'm happy that I can raise Nikki, Daisy, and Marigold in a smoke-free house. I hope I can be an inspiration to others!
