Prayers for your Papa! I hope the bleeding might have been from a nosebleed when he fell, and he will be ok soon.

My grandpa is back in the hospital - complaining of dizziness and shortness of breath.. and his O2 level has been up & down all night... and turning blue off and on..

    I am scared.

You're the one sure thing I've found so you better stick around...

Prayers for your grandad...I pray it is just a small setback, and they can get him to rights soon.

Just to wrap up on Mac....An AC officer was here tonight. Gave me a ticket for 200 dollars, for allowing my dog to bite a person. As soon as I pay the ticket, Mac is deemed a dangerous dog. He gave me a notice about that and all the restrictions it will place on Mac. He told me to hold off on paying for a few days as he's been told his boss is going to vary a few of the conditions--like needing a pen with a roof and hopefully find a way to allow Mac to still run in the team. I'd really like to get out of the tattooing requirement. The by-law says he has to have his ear or flank tattooed within 15 days of the designation. He's already microchipped, but I"m not sure that will be good enough.

Well, gosh ....I guess the AC guys have to follow the laws, or the other side would be really upset and maybe make things worse...but thank God the boss is trying to change some of the conditions.

Also - is the DD for life? Or if Mac doesn't mistake another kid for a huge stuffy in 5 years, is it removed?

HUGS and PRAYERS that all turns out well! At least you will have your Mac alive - and hopefully running with the team again.

It stays with him for life, unless we move outside the city limits. Technically we are inside the city by a few hundred metres. It's a city bylaw so outside of the limits, it doesn't apply.

And what happened to those people for allowing their dog to bite yours? Oh, never mind, probably "nothing", right? Really sorry to hear Mac's sentence, but at least you weren't required to put him down- that would have been awful. (I know that if you believed Mac was a real threat to anyone, you would, no matter how painful it was to do.) You are so good with your dogs, I'm sure Mac will continue to have a quality life in your care.

I would have to file a seperate complaint to pursue that and I chose not to.

I can't believe they are calling what mac did a bite, that just doesn't seem right. The whole this is frustrating for me I can't imagine how you feel Tamara.

Wish that were the case. He actually got a pretty big slash on his head that needed staples. He's also pretty scratched up on his arm he fell on.

He's still in the hospital because he's incredibly dehydrated - they think it's his kidneys.

There was a little girl with her as well who was not involved at all, but was pretty upset.

I have a place lined up for Mac, if he needs to disappear.
What happened with the idea that the Kid's Mom was possibly willing to just
*forget* the whole incident and not press a complaint?

Did somebody *get to her* and change her mind?
Did YOU ever get to meet with her?

Is there still a possibility that she might speak up FOR Mac to lessen his penalties?

    Could Mac adjust to Ohio?
How far is it to Whitehorse?
