    My grandfather still needs thoughts.

He is now currently in the psychiatric ward. I visited him the other day (had to force myself, as I hate hospitals and this section of the hospital is NOT pretty.) It was just to weird seeing my grandfather in there.

He is doing better but still not himself. The last time this happened (10 years ago,) his doctor had changed his medicine, and my grandfather nearly died. In fact, his body was shutting down and he lost part of his foot as a result.

They are not going to release him until we say he is better. The way he is now, it's going to be a while until he's out.

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, Kay. I didn't see this earlier. I hope he will be ok! Has your job situation become worse now too?

I'm offering prayers to all those in need... and asking for prayers as well. I'm very frightened and down. I feel unable to get into details but the time is soon approaching that I will have to leave all that I know and love in my home.

I just can't decide what to do and I guess I officially quit?

It's either go back to work there, be completely miserable - but get any days off, any hours, etc. that I want. But still doing something that I hate.

    OR

Find something I really love to do, risk never being able to get the days/hours that I want.

I always have this job to fall back on (not that I want to) but if worse comes to worse, my boss isn't going to say no to me.
It's just really stressful, especially since my dad is having to run my grandpa's business while he is in the hospital. So, I don't exactly have reliable transportation at the moment.

Why can't I just win the lottery and open up my own business?

    Sorry for blabbing on...

    (((Hugs}}} and prayers, Jess.
Prayers going out for your Grandfather, too, Kay. I am sure you will find the a job you enjoy you have a lot of talent, and then the hours won't really matter as much.

A very dear friend of mine died yesterday. I don't really feel up to posting the details right now. He was a wonderful young man, one the first people I met when I moved up here, gave Stuart his first Yukon job. The good die young and Richard was one of the best. He had a large network of friends and family and we are all reeling from his death.

prayers for k9soul, glacier and Mr. glacier, and kfamr .

Could you please say a prayer for Mary, my manager. She is having a hip replacement on Tuesday. She has been in a lot of pain with this and it has started to affect how she walks over the past few weeks, so she's had backaches too. She is going to have a hard time being at home - "take it easy" isn't something she tends to do. Hopefully she will be back to us in 2-3 weeks if it all goes well. I'm sure she will phone and e-mail us in the interim.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
