My Ferret has a cold what can I do?

My ferret has a cold. It has the tell tale signs : Sneezing, drainage, and shortness of breath. I turned up the room temp to 74 and I am trying to give it a lot of rest. I am bringing it to the vet later, so other than the vet, are there any other measures I can take to help it feel better or more comfortable?

Get your ferret to the vet. They can die from the common cold. The rule is if you or anyone you know is sick with a cold/flu they are not to touch a ferret cause it can be life threatening!!!
