    The NOISE of New Year's....

MAXIMUS has never bothered about the sirens or things like that.
BUT, the loud noises that carry on after, just.....oh! Gets us both
in an uproar. The dogs going on and on, just bother the both of
us. He does have a thing about loud noises(fireworks and such.)
But, tonight the neighborhood dogs WILL NOT STOP.
There have been a few loud noises, but MAXIMUS has not been
affected by anything but the dogs howling. What's that all about?

I for one, am glad the festivities are over in my neighborhood. We've been hearing firecrackers for weeks. Delilah is terrified and she has such a hard time. Last night sounded like World War III. This morning she's almost back to normal. I hope there are no more poppers left for tonight

We had a few fireworks around our house but my 3 slept through them all, thank goodness. However, they kept me awake for a little bit and I had to be at work at 7am this morning.

We had fireworks at midnight down the road from us and that scared Fenway. Poor little guy. We also had thunder last night in the middle of the snowing. Weird. Of course, Fenway was scared about that too.

Glad I was home to comfort my little guy.

We had a few fireworks (living across the ally from police station does have advantages) But poor Dugan went into pnic mode before I got him into the shop and he and Lady locked in . Shaking and drooling badly.

The fireworks started just after dark and continued well after midnight.
Smokey did so much better than last year. He and Maggie heard them
alright & kept their last outtie pretty short, but otherwise did really well
inside. I'm so proud of Smokey.
