Im learning the keyboard!

As most of you know that my lovely brother got me a keyboard for Christmas.

You might of noticed I wasnt on here today as my fingers were some place else

I am learning that song in the movie Big starring Tom Hanks and that old guy who played on that gaint keyboard in the toy store.

Im getting pretty good at it!!! lol. I am just wondering if you have any good links for songbooks to download?

I always found it easier to learn from childrens song books, like row row row your boat, hot cross buns, tv show theme songs, twinkle twinkle little star. Its easier cause you know what the song should sound like, so when you make an error, you know that you have made it

It was easier then I thought. It even comes with what it should sound like & you can download the music sheet

Wow! I googled a pic of mine it is a Yamaha PSR1000

I don't really play anymore though. Does yours take floppy disks like mine? It's good for saving compositions

Hey, my hubby got me one for Christmas too! It's a Yamaha! I took piano for about 5 years when I was a child, but am having to basically start all over again too! I love all of the different sounds you can get on it! Will have to take a picture of mine and post it later!

What a great instrument!!! It will be really fun to play on that!!!
I learned to play the piano when I was a kid. I can still play, but forgot all about how to use my left hand.....

. I can also play flute pretty well. That was handy when I was teaching in primary school! Wish I could play gitar though....
