    Team Six is in Torino!

We're late getting settled into the Village but will be hosting a little Partee for fellow Catheletes this evening in our suite. Look for our Team Flag...

We filed our official entries for the Games and here they are:

    Feb. 11-13
Sprinting/Running - Percy, Tiger, William, Scooter

    February 12-14
    Hiding - Norbert, Pippin
Synchro sleeping - Percy & Norbert (Pairs competition only)
Synchro eating - Tiger & Scooter (Pairs competition only)
Synchro sitting - Tiger & Scooter (Pairs competition only)

    Feb 15-17
Yoga in the box - Pippin
Cat nip Toy Hunting - Scooter

    Feb 18-20
    Weightlifting - Scooter
Wrestling - Norbert, Pippin, William, Scooter
Getting things from the Humans - Tiger

And finally here's a shot of Norbert and Pippin in wrestling practice just before leaving for Torino:

Everyone is in good form and anticipate no problems with drug testing this year. No one is on any meds at this time and the team cut back on Nip consumption last month.

Good luck to all the Catheletes! Go for the Gold!

    The wait is over!

Years, month, weeks, days and now....hours.

In a matter of hours the stadium in Torino will open it's gates to welcome some of the most athletic cats to ever represent their countries.

When the Olympic fanfare sounds (Stray Cat Strut by the Stray Cats)
the teams will move into the stadium. preceded by the Olympic Flag, the cat-thletes and the lighting of the Torch.

The President of the IFGC (International Feline Games Committee) will officially open the games and the party can begin!

One more night's sleep, with the exception of the sleeping teams, and the world will again be graced with performances by these extraordinary competitors.

    Second week schedule released!

    Feb 21-23

Tile floor speed skating, Milk ring Hockey

    Feb 23-26

Cold weather piling and Synchronized Sleeping (The singles sleeping events will be held at the same time)

    Last minute entry???

    Well, hello there...!!

Wonder if anyone remember us?? We have been very busy, Bella and I (and stressed out and ill and busy again, actually! ) but we don't want to let Randi and Fister down on this great event!

Bella would like to offer her services as a referee in any discipline you would want since nothing - absolutely nothing - will escape her unflinching eyes. Her capacity of staring is quite awesome, and she usually succeeds in making new acquaintances uneasy...

Here is the picture to prove it!

So how about it? Are we in??

    Good luck to everybody!

    Love,
    Sus

Hi Bella! You'll be the perfect referee - I know your eyes don't miss anything!! I'm also glad to see your mom didn't starve you to death!

I'll ring for a cab now, so lets meet downstairs in 10 min, and we can go together, OK?

Here we are, checking in - just hope we'll get through security without any problems.

We're looking forward to meet the rest of you!

Edwina, I'm glad you took my advice. A famous designer as you would never get past the paparazzies without your sunglasses and hat. However, if you do get into any trouble, we'll be there to help.

    Your friends,
    Fister, Pjevs and Bella

    Let the games begin!

Fans, proud parents and spectators have filed into the Olympic Stadium for the Opening Ceremonies of the First EVER Winter Cat-olympics..

The wait is over.....it's time to particpate, compete and play....

The lights are lowered and crowd is hushed......a spot light illuminates the entrance and

The Pet Talk Olympic banner makes it's entrance!!!

The crowd comes to it's feet and the thundering applause is deafening!!!

As the Olympic flag makes its way around the edge of the stadium the
    Pettalkville flag makes it's entrance!!

If it is possible the noise has grown louder- the spectators are delerious!!

(Before anything else happens I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart,
Koxka, Killearn Kitties and Randi for doing all the graphic work! They truly have done the hardest part...I can BS....but it's their work that will add the pictures to the text!!)

    Ladies and Gentleman...

The Parade of Nations is about to begin!

I just wanted to make a note of the costumes being worn by all the participants. They were all designed and modeled for the IFGC by Edwina of Southern California.

The IFGC wants to thank her for her time, designs and modeling talents...

    Here is the first team....
    Representing Bahrain!!!

Bahrain is one of the smaller nations represented at these games, but do not be fooled.....they are entered in a few events and have great discipline!

    And following Team Bahrain...

    Team Canada!

Canada...being a cold coutry is ALWAYS a force to be dealt with at any winter competition!!!

And on a side note.....Team Catalonia is still trying to figure out the events and team they will send to compete.......

More on that story later on!!!

    And now....

    Team Belgium!

Team Belgium is another small European powerhouse-looking for Cat-olympic gold!

    Team Germany!!!!!

The proverbial German Powerhouse is has only two teammembers....But what a pair!!!

    Team Moldova!!!

Another small, but powerful team....look for them to make a mark on these games!!

    Team New Zealand!!!

Their lone entry traveled hours to represent the Kiwi Islands......

    Team United Kingdom!

The best and brightest have made the trip from this island nation!

    Team France!

Another small but very talented Euro team!

    The Danes!

    An interesting personal story here!
It's rumored that the figure on the medal is none other than Fister..

Ask you can see, the likeness is immediately noticeable!
