    Cold Snap in the Sunny South

    We are having our first cold snap and the kitties have been curled up sleeping somewhere.... shown in first 2 shots...

    Then I cut the heat in to take the chill off and they all came alive, shown in the 3 & 4th shots.
    Amy in her bed....

    Cut the heat on and they came alive, Chester came strutting up the hall, calling his sisters.... Once he did a head count he went back to where he was and went back to sleep.


    Giz... looking for something to get into already....

    I just love how cats are heat seeking missles. My two will sleep directly in front of the vent. If they aren't there when the heat comes on, they come running and block the hot air from getting into the house!

    I have electric heat and I've noticed Logan spending a lot of time in front of the heater. I turned it up just for him.

    Adorable babies! I hope they all found a warm, snuggly spot to warm up in.

    But, I've got to ask. What is considered a cold snap in SE Lousiana? I'm looking at -31 F here in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Brrrrrrrr. Now THAT'S a cold snap.

    It's been cold and snowy my 2 are sleeping on the radatiors watching the squirrels out the window.will try to get a photo later.

    I bought a small force air heater for the Found Cats 2000 Watts,and it blows warm Air over there,and they all manuever to be in the Fans path.
    Quite a sight,to see them all trying to get in the warm breeze.
    I wish I could move,where its warm.
    I hate COLD!As do The Cats.

    It's not supposed to get cold until tomorrow, though the cats don't really change their behavior much. They're pretty lazy until we get home and all of a sudden their starving.

    I think Giz is simply stunning! I love your other babies too.

    Kuhio98.... Cold here is when you go from the 80's during the day to the 30's at night... A sudden drop like that is SHOCKING to the babies and me! A/C yesterday, heater today!

    CalliesMom, Giz IS stunning. Her coloring and her markings and that silky soft fur but her personality outshines her beauty!
