What do you think Lucy is?

What do you think Lucy is?Honestly,i really dont know. She definently has spaniel in her,but i dont know what else. The rescue said a springer/lab mix? She's not close to being the size of a lab.She may have border collie in her?

    Pictures on her Dogster
    http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=107220&j=t

    some more info on her
    She's 1 year old.
    Weighs 47 lbs,but should be around 41
    roughly 16-18 inches tall
    dominate with other dogs,(mostly females)
very friendly but weary of strangers
    protective of the family,and house.
she has some white on her, only on her feet/toes,and some on her tail.and she's starting to get a brown undercoat.she curls her tail too, when she walks.
and i dont know what else to put about her,but she's a very sweet girl!

heres a few body shots that are not very good, lol

She kind of reminds me of a Chow in appearance in a lot of her pictures, whatever she is she's very pretty!

I would say Lab x Chow. Take a look at my Granddad and Nana's female Golden Retriever x Chow, Chelsea:

I know I have a side body shot of her somewhere. I'll search for it and post it later.

I think she is Chow/English Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever. I see a little bit of each breed in her.

    Cute!

Oh - you were looking for a breed?

She looks like maybe Flat-coated Retriever and something smaller/stockier - her ears particularly look like FCR fur texture to me!

    I vote chow as well
I've always thought chow when you post her pics

Theres a lady who works with a rescue that my mom sees on her walks, and she thinks Lucy has flat coated retriever in her.IMO,i think she's a bit small.I agree,i think she has chow in her. She's starting to look more like one as she gets older. She looks like Spaniel too.So i agree with you all.

    And thanks for the compliments!

Rottweiler/Flat-Coated Retriever or Chow/something smaller, like a spaniel maybe? But I do really see Rottie in her beautiful face..

Lucy's face is alot like George, Snowy's friend who is a labrador. But as you said she is not a labrador size, but a spaniel size wo they are probably correct that she is Labrador x Springer Spaniel.

by the way this Snowy and George. No face of George I'm afraid but can you see the similarity of Lucy and George's coat?

Her head in most of her dogster pictures looks like a Rottweiler.

I see quite a few breeds in her, chow, flat coated retriever, spaniel, lab, rott.
She sure is a pretty girl!
