I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved boy passing to the rainbow bridge. A while ago I adopted a young dog from the humane society and shortly after bringing him home we discovered he was very ill, we tried everything we could and in the end we lost him. I understand how hard it is. We are all here to offer you support during this hard time.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

    I understand your pain completly.

We had to put down my dog Honey 4 days ago, and although she wasn't young, she was 12, it was still very hard. The feeling is terrible.. Just remember, your boy is in a better place, not suffering anymore..I know exactly how you feel

It's never easy and even harder when they
    go before their time.

Yes, I feel that deep pain, too. My Rosie had justed turned 3 when she was gone in an instant - no goodbyes, no long sweet moments to share before she left. On a cold rainy night she was hit by a truck right in front of the house - I heard it - and by the time she was lifted into the truck to go to the vets, she was gone. Stupid me, I had run into the house to call the emergency vet, I wasn't even with her when she passed. I'm so mad at myself about it. I wish I'd at least have been holding her head in my lap. All I got in was a quick pet and a "Rosie I love you" and then ran for the phone. (This was about a year and a half ago, I still cry all the time over her.)
so yes, there are others of us who share that pain.
