The price of Gas where you are

Here in Southern NH, most of the Gas Stations went from about $2.53 yesterday morning to $2.79 this morning. Unfortunately it is probably only going to get worse. How much is Gas where you are?

The cheapest I've seen it here is $2.59. However, that was before Katrina. I'm afraid we're going to be totally screwed now.

    This is really becoming unbearable.
I really hate this situation and while I am having a hard time with the increases I think that there are others hurting even more than me. I am fortunate enough to work very close to home (about 7 miles) but I know many people that travel 50+ miles a day just to get to work. I think the government should do more.

It went up about 30cents from yesterday in my area.
If I travel about 20-30 minutes to the city you can find it for about 2.60 if you really look.

Yesterdays average was about 2.65, today's average 2.95 in my area!!!!
This is getting to be insane.

While it's going to be really hard for me to pay higher gas prices, at least I have a roof over my head and food and water. I personally feel very blessed.

Maybe now the government will build more refineries and learn not to put them all in one area.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

When I went to work this morning, the one station where I usually stop was $2.419. This afternoon, when I ran home for lunch, it was $3.099, for the same, regular unleaded gas.

Me too! My hubby wanted to fill up over the weekend, but I still had half a tank. It was only $2.79 then. I'll be lucky if I can find anything less than $3.00 now.

We filled both our cars for $2.59 last night. I didn't pay attention on my way in this morning, however the local news wesbites are reporting prices of $3.09 and up.

Two people I work with live less than a 1/2 mile each from me. We are talking about putting together a carpooling schedule. I hope it works out...

    UPDATE.....

It just went over $3.00. Someone just came in and told me. OMG!!! I too am grateful that it is just rising gas prices we are having to deal with, but it is still hard to accept that the prices have gone up so much in such a short time!
