Your precious Indi was indeed beautiful and unique. And I loved your descriptions of her adventurous spirit. How blessed she was to be loved by you and to live on gorgeous Lopez Island.
I've seen the island many times from the Anacortes Ferry but never up close. (I live in tiny little Brier - eight blocks over the county line from northeast Seattle.)

I just thought this was a great post, full of tragedy and adventure, and it would make a great book (told from the cat's point of view, of course).

In fact, perhaps I have too much imagination, but it's easy to see an entire history for Indi like Robert E. Howard's Conan, written by many authors and finally being made into movies and such.
