Sorry, I guess I'm not as International as I had hoped It sounds like a lovely birthday and I'm so very glad to hear it
Ground beef perhaps you would call it? 250grams would be a small handfull, the measurements are probably not to exact, as I like to cook by taste & texture anyway.

    Howz the new job going????
Pretty good thanks Michelle, I'm getting home a bit later now, so my time on the computer is a bit limited unfortunately.
I've been learning about chemicals this week, it's almost like being back in my highschool chemistry class.

I wondered how the "mince" reference would go down.

Trev, are you aware that there are recipe threads on PT? I think it is time you started adding some of your mouthwater concoctions (just from the kitchen though, not your chemisrty class).

Thanks for the clarification Trevor... I should have figured that out but these days, for example, a mince meat pie actually has no real meat in it at all! Minced up fruit and stuff. I know it USED to have real meat but terminology when it comes to international cooking can be tricky I'll try it and report back in sir Actually it sounds quite similar to stuffed tomatoes but yours seem to add that "special touch" that is needed.
