    Bilbo & Frodo

Special needs guys that need a special adopter.
They have twisted limbs, but get on pretty good considering.

    They are available at siameserescue.org

Now, I know some of you have a 'soft spot' for special needs, so have a look, and spread the word.

It just breaks my heart that so many BEAUTIFUL babies are out there without a human to love them and give them homes!

How cute they both are. I ahve learned here so much about special needs kitties that I wouldn't hesitate if I was closer.

Just think of Glacier's Felicia- one of my favorite girls.

Not one, but TWO gorgeous special kitties! If I didn't have a large M*A*S*H Unit, I'd scoop those two lovelies up in a heartbeat. The correct term for their birth defect is "radial aplasia", or "radial hypoplasia". Aplasia means absence of bone in the limb, and hypoplasia means abnormal bending (basically). I detest the term "twisty cat" as it was coined by a particular nutcase in Texas who bred/breeds them. I'd like to not give her anymore noteriety! *sigh*...they are so like my sweetheart Kirby, and my RB dearly missed Willy.

Queen, you absolutely correct, and in fact, these two won't have that tough of a time getting adopted
There are people searching for special cats to help.

The tough adoptions are the ones with behavioral problems.

Who do you know out there looking for a cat the sprays, bites or poops outside the box constantly.

    Wow

Rose those boys are sooooo CUTE. I would love to get one of them if I could. Since we have little Chloe she has been the center of attension not because she is spoiled rotten but actually makes her self the center of attension. The one I think his name is Frodo?? Really looks a lot like my little girl. I bet he is just a lover. I wish my husband would let me foster. He thinks I would fall in love with all of them and want to keep them. How do you do that and not want to keep them all?????

That is a common misconception about fostering. Although it does happen, the urge to keep them all gives way to logic.

You are not sending them off to fend for themselves, they are getting great, pre-screened homes.

You can't keep them all. I'd have over 40 cats by now if I did.

And the best motivation, everytime I see a cat leave me home, and know I will never see or hold them again, I picture, in my mind, a cage door opening, and another cat walking out from certain doom to safety. Sometimes it is so close, they are on their last day.

We need more fosters, for all organizations.

    Ready?
