Camping with Cisco <pics>

My friend, her sister, and I went camping for a few days. We took our dogs (Nebo and Cisco) too of course. They had a great time getting filthy and guarding us from critters. One night we were sitting around the fire in the dark and Nebo saw something in the bushes. He was tied up, Cisco was not...Cisco went after it and pounced then chased it up behind our tent. Nebo was going crazy yowling and Cisco was furiously barking at the bushes. We thought it was strange that it wouldn't just run off with all that noise but it stayed there...had a little stand off lol. We shone the light in the bushes and finally saw that it was a skunk with his rear end pointed our way! That was a close one, I'm glad none of us got sprayed! We got the dogs to be quiet and the little skunk left after that.

When we got home the dogs were so dirty they needed a bath. I didn't want to wait to bring Nebo to work so I gave him his first backyard bath. He was thrilled.

If we've ever seen a dog made for the camera it's gotta be Nebo. He is both photogenic and gorgeous. One of the handsomest dogs we've ever laid eyes on. Cisco is very handsome too and it looks like the boys had a great time. Those are beautiful pics

They were at home with my parents. They like camping the tent just wasn't big enough for that many dogs and I didn't really want to have to walk all 3 at once. They are actually my parents dogs and Nebo is my dog.
