    Update on Jax

    I went to visit him a few hours ago.
    What a pitiful site. I wanted to cry.
    He has a cut from his ribcage down to his pipi. I don't know how many staples they used to close him up.
    All his legs are badly bruised (from the IV's).
    The worst is over though. He should recouperate withing a few weeks.
    He was very drugged up because of his pain medication but he still had the will to wag his tail a little when he saw me.
    Now he just has to try to eat and drink to get better quicker....

    He ended up having bloat right? Was it the boston or Borzoi? Or is that boston, Beenie?

    Sorry, from your last post asking for prayers I just assumed that Jax was a boston.

    Yes, he had bloat. Jax is my bosses dog (the Borzoi) and Beenie is my Boston. They are best friends and see each other everyday in the office.

    First I have to comment how gorgeous Jax is. Those Borzoi's are simply awesome! The photo was priceless.
    Tons of prayers go out to Jax and his owner. Jax was so lucky to have made it to the vet on time! Oh My! I'm petrified of bloat. So many sweet souls on PT weren't as lucky as Jax. I hope he's back to his regal self in no time.
